The Puiine Minister to-day conferred with cheese producers regarding the proposal that the Board of Trade should take the whole of the output at a- fixed price. The producers proposed BJd per lb, but the Imperial authorities arc unwilling to pay 1 his amount. No agreement was reached, and probably the present arrangement will be continued. "
