The appointment of delegates for next district meeting was held over. _ A meeting was held on Wednesday evening by the Hope of Duncdin The chair was occupied by C.T. Bro PlHan who extended a hearty welcome to the visi-t-ore, to which Bro. Allpress responded. The delegates' report of the annual meeting of :ae United Temperance Reform Council was given. The syllabus for the new quarter wn-< submitted, and after being considered seriatim was approved. The programme for the evening was "Sing, Recite, or Pay 3d." Only four paid the forfeit, ail the ethers giving a selection of songs, recitations, or musical items. The "surprise packet" was selections on the piccolo by a sister, who Save four items, she was awarded a round ot applause.
