RVENSBOURNE BOATING CLUB
A 'meeting of the committee W the above club was held in the clubhouse last evening; present—Commodore H. E. Moller (in the chair), Messrs Harridge, Gregory, Urant, Graham, Jtichdale, French, Ferguson, Cameron, and Young. A amount of rorrespondenco was dealt with, several letters from members at the war being received. After the chairman had explained the position, it -was decided to invest .the club's funds {some £SO). in. the •war loan. The_ matter of the annual report was left in the- hands of the caplain and' scrretary to deal with, and the annual meeting of tho club was fixed For next month. It was decided to send letters of sympathy to Messrs Petrie, Kellett, and Boswell, the parents of_threo of the club members. Arrangements were made for the captain* and secretary to place the particulars of the war loan before members, in order to get young men in .the district to participate. A vote of thanks to the chairman terminated a successful meeting.
