Bray Bros, (of Dunedin) Ltd., report as follows for the week ended to-dav :

Wheat.—The wheat market is rathe? quiet, and farmers are preferring to store rather than accept ruling prices. Oats.— Prices are a shade higher for forward delivery, otherwise the position is practically unaltered from last week. Not them buyers_ ideas of value are much below our quotation, and as a result practically no shipping business has been done. Shipping facilities are also a drawback. Butter. The market has a firming tendency at home, and as it is understood that 35,000 boxes are* to be shipped rhis montu. the New Zealand market is firm at present advance. Eggs.—Eggs have advanced, aiid are firm at quotations. Fruit.—Thero has been a glut in tomato.es during the- week, with the result that prices have been disastrous to growers. All other classes of fruit have been bringing remunerative prices. Apples and pears are scarce, and the demand is good. It is thought, however, that apples will shortly come down in price. The following prices were realised during the week :

Wheat.—Velvet, 5s to 5s 2d per bushel; Tuscan. 4s 6d to 4s 7d per bushel: best fowl, 4s 3d to 4s 4d per bushel. Oats.—A Cartons. •2s 8d to 2s BJ,d, f.o.b.s.i. ; B Gartons, 2s 7d, f.0.b.5.i.; A Sparrowbills. 2s 7d to 2s Bd, f.o.b.s.i. Chaff.—Prime oaten sheaf, £3 5s to £3 10s per ton. Hay, £6 10s per ton.

Straw, £2 to £2 5s per ton. Potatoes, £5 to £5 10s per ton. Onions, £5 per ton.

Bran, £4 per ton, delivered country sid ings.

Pollard, £7 per ton, delivered country sidings. Bacon.—Rolls, Is Id per lb (scarce). Cheese.—Mediums, 9d per lb; loaf, 9id per lb.

Eggs.—Stamped, 2s Id per dozen; cased, Is 9d per dozen; preserved, Is 6d per dozen.

Butter.—Creamery bulk, Is 4|d per lb ; creamery pats, Is 5d per pat; separator, Is 3d per lb; milled, Is 3d per lb. Apples.—Choice dessert, 3£d per lb: others, to 3d per lb; cookers, 2s 6d to 4s 6d per case. Peaches.—Jam, Id to 2d per lb: dessert to 3id per lb. Tomatoes.—Prime dessert, Id to per lb. Pears, Id to 2d per lb. Plums (about finished).—Jam, lid per lb ; dessert, 3d per lb. Quinces, Id to l§cl per lb. Oranges.—American, 25s to 40s per case. Lemons.—American, 30s per case. Pines, market bare. Grapes.—Local, <9d to Is per lb; Christchurch, 7d to lOd per lb. Green peas, to 2d per lb. Cucumbers, 2s to 5s 6d per dozen.
