BOWLING. The regular meeting of the Diinedin Centre executive last night was attended by Messrs Glover (chairman). Abbott, Dempster; Matheson. Piddington. Hughes. Carolin, and W. Nicolson. The council forwarded a report of a meeting held on the 6th inst. The meeting resolved to carry Professor Walker's motion re allowing .weighted bowls. The motion bv Mr Helliwell that certificates be issued to the runners-up in the late association tournament was defeated. Mainlv routine business was, transacted. It was resolved that the draw for the Easier tournament (entries for which close next Fridav) ■ be made on Saturday night.
,'dio Portobsllo riflo range will be open for practice on Saturday to those taking part in. the Easter meeting.
