A very interesting miniature rifle match was tired last week between teams representing No. 2 (City) and Mornington Platoons. The conditions were seven shots and an optional sighter. After a close contest victory reeled with No. 2 Platoon by a small margin. The following are the scores: No. 2 Platoon.—Ferguson 67, Jacobson 66, Fraser 64, Sligo 62, Davis 62, Austin 60, Neilson 58, Rutherford 58, Martin 54, Crust 50; total, 601. -Mornington.—Moir 65, Beveridge 63, Hannisan 65, Weathers!one 62. Reid 60, M‘N’ciil 58. Bligh 56. Short! 55. Ashcroft 54, Hall 51 ; total, 589.
