OTAGO WOMEN’S PATRIOTIC ASSOCIATION.
—St. Clair Brandi.— Meetings were held on Monday afternoon and evening as usual. The committee acknowledge the following donations: —Miss Vera Taylor, ss; Mrs Isaacs, socks, cuffs, and ambulance; Miss Nixon, socks and balaclavas; Mrs Chahner, ambulance and Belgian relief; Mrs Brooks, Belgian relief Mrs Rodgerson, Belgian relief; Miss Cohen, balaclava. Also to children of St. Clair School for month of February : 53 face-cloths, 31 handkerchiefs, 2 dozen button bags, 36 tea towels, 45 service bags, 1 pair mittens, 20 fomentation cloths, 2 rolls of cotton (antiseptic). The committee also thank the ladies of St. Clair for their large donation of cakes and sweets for the Anzac garden fete. Donations to the club funds are always acceptable,- The following articles have been forwarded to the head branch:—! pair cuffs, 1 pair mittens, 41 tea towels, 17 balaclavas, 15 pairs socks, 110 tea cloths, 48_ roller bandages, 25 hospital handkerchiefs, 3 white . shirts, 3 singlets, 10 diet cloths.
