A match, between the Pioneer Miniature Rifle Club, of St Clair, and the Portobello Miniature Rifle Club was fired on the Portobello Club's range on Saturday afterj^ n " r TJl ° weatner conditions were splendid. The last time thes teams met' tha Pioneers defeated the Portobello Club by 28 points, but on th:s occasion the derieio nwas reversed. The conditions were. seven shots at 100, 150, and 200 yards, boores:— Portobello.—D. An.ott 87, J. Lamond 86, S. Miller 85. J. Clark 84, H. Allen 84 A. M'Lean 82 ; total, 508. Pioneer.—Findlay 86. Don 85, Hazard 84, Matthews 83 T. Gillespie 82, Fenwick 79; total, 499.
