THE CHIVALROUS TURK.
LONDON, February 8. (Received February 9, at 8.5 a.m.) A British officer tells au illuminating story of chivalry on the part of the Turks. At Ctcsiphon a barge containing 500 British wounded, and with the medical personnel aboard, stuck in the mud, and had to be' abandoned. The Turks towed the barge off under cover of the white flag, and sent all the men back unharmed into the British camp.
