_ LONDON, February 7. Reuters New York correspondent says the mere choice of words will not bo permitted to interfere with the Lusitania negotiations. America will not insist upon the use of the word “ illegal ” or upon a disavowal. It is believed that the case is practically settled. COPENHAGEN, February 7. Mr Morgcnthau, American Ambassador at Constantinople, is en route for Washicgtoir on an important mission. He said he did not believe in the possibility of a German-American conflict.
