BROKEN HILL STRIKE. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, February 7. The Arbitration Court will hear the Broken Hill case on the 14th inst. Senator Pearce (Minister of Defence) has again appealed to the strikers to reconsider their position. DOCTORS IN THE SCHOOLS. SYDNEY, February 8. The British Medical Association are unanimously opposed to State interference with _ the recognised system of medical practice. They approvo of medical inspection, but not the treatment of school children by Government departmental officers. The Hon. Arthur Griffith is determined to fight the association on the <iuestion.
