HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE. ‘The Man Who Stayed At Home’ is orawing the crowds to His .Majesty’s theatre. There was another large audience present last evening to witness the second production of this fascinating spy play. Iho piece is well staged and acted, arid promises to have a meet successful run in Dunedin. The acting of Mr Frank Hairev and Miss Violet Paget was again a feature ot the production. ’The Man Who Stayed At Home will bo staged again to-night. PRINCESS THEATRE. the perfoimanco of Lutes, “ the wizard of the feet, really beggars description, and must lie seen to be appreciated. Tire ease with which toes are made to perform the functions of fingers is astonishing, and the neatness with which everything is done precludes any possibility of that feeling ot repulsion which is sometimes engendered by unnatural performances. The last two nights of Lutes, also of Hazel Moms, the ragtime queen, are announced. Other acts on this week’s big bill are Armstrong anil Howarth, in their clever comedy sketch; Alsace and Lorraine, in a really good musical turn-; Rose Lee Ivy the American singer with the pleasant flexible voice; Wells and Eclair Twins! the Gasselli Sisters, Nellie Kollo, and Frank Herbert®.
There will be a special matinee to-mor-row atternoon. Tlie entertainment is one eminently suitable for old and young alike.
