Of the many patriotic sbrigs that have been produced in New Zealand since the Great War began, 'The Soldier,' written and..comprised by Albert H. Light, and published by I?. Leslie-Jones, of Weilhigt.tin, seems as likely as anv' to catch on? witli the troops. The words embody the .feelings of the people, the air is easy to .sing, the accompaniment presents no difficulty, and we can well understand that a brass band could make it a slimier feature
