Building Fund Loan. In ; December Mr T. J. Brownell (choirmaster) and Miss G. Brownell (organist) . resigned their positions. It was decided to combine the two offices, and Mr J. M. Lomas was duly appointed as choirmaster and organist, taking up bis duties on the first Sunday in May, The receipts fiom all sources totalled £B2l 0s 9d, and. after meeting expenses there was a credit balance of £32 11s Id left. Sabbath School.—The losses in teachers during the year have been exceptionally heavy—viz., Messrs Sneddon, C. N. M'Domikl- and J. M'Call, Misses Linton. Crawford. Bruce (2), M. Wilson, and Mrs C. X. M’Donald. These were all faithful and dependable teachers, and a number cf the above had rendered long kind devoted service. The roll totals on August 1 were as follow:—Officers. 3; i teachers. 19: assistant teachers, 17; | scholars, 381; total. 420. The attendance j has been very good in the junior and in- ; termediate departments, but not quite so 1 good in the lower departments, owing to ; a considerable amount of sickness. The 1 Oracle Bell contains 206 names under ! four years. The balance-sheet shows re- | ceipts (including a credit-balance at the I beginning • of £1 Is totalling 8! £B6 5s Bd, and the year closed! with a i credit balance of £5 12s 2d.
