It apparently contains much controversial matter, and it will not be surprising jf tho number of districts bo as follows-Auckland, Egmont (comprising Taranaki and Wanganui), Wellington, Hawke’s Bay (including the part of tho oast coast now attached to Auckland), Nelson (comprising the present districts of Marlborough and Nelson), North Canterbury (including Westland), South Canterbury, Otago, and Southland.
