Ivanhoe Lodge met in Waratah Rooms, on September '6, A.D. Bro. E. A. Borrow presiding over a good attendance of members and visitors. An invitation to Otago Lodge was accepted, and an official visit was arranged. It wae decided to draw the attention of the Dispensary Board to the supply of medicines to members. Sick pay amounting to 511 10s was passed for payr mc-nt. The lodge made arrangements to present P.A. Bro. Cahill with a P.A. collar and diploma on a date to be arranged later, and also to have an open night on the occasion. The loyal toasts were responded to by Bro. Andrew Wilkinson, who visited the lodge in his official capacity. P.I) .P. Bro. B. Reid (Lily) and P.D.P. Bro. Hansen (Enterprise) ailso received a hearty welcome.
The usual meeting of Linden Lodge, No. 5. was held on the 7th inst., when A.D. Bro. Freeman presided. The lodge opened early for business, and adjourned at 8.1& p.m. to entertain the officers and members of Linden Rebekah Lodge, 1.0.0. F. P.V.P. Sister K. H. Wilkincion and her colleagues were heartily welcomed by the A.D. An enjoyable evening was spent at cards and dancing. Supper was served, and enjoyed by all. G.P. Bro. G. W. Crawford presided at the piano, and his services were highly appreciated. P.A. Bro. Collier acted as M.C.
