The Rakanoa was due here to-day from Westport. The Mararoa left Auckland to-day for Gisborne, Napier, and Wellington, where she enters the Wellington-Lyttelton service in place, of the Monowai, leaving Wellington on Thursday. The Wanaka is due to leave Timaru about Thursday, the 16th, Oamaru on the 17th, and Bluff on the 20th for Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland. The Whangape left this afternoon for Oamaru and Newcastle. Cable advice was received yesterday from Brisbane stating that the steamer Mutlah has been refloated. THE FERRY SERVICE. The Maori, from Wellington, arrived at Lyttelton at 6.20 a.m. to-day, and connected with the first express for the south. MOANA ARRIVES AT SAN FRANCISCO. Advice received in Wellington states that the Moana, which left Wellington on August 19, arrived at San Francisco last Thursday morning.
