KL -£ ND ' sp P*«nber 13. lhe Okoroire Hot Springs hotel was totally destroyed by fire at 5.30 this morning, the 30 guests escaping safely The sanatorium was, saved after stroh* efforts. ' • . ° Mr Griffiths, owner of tho Okoroire Hotel, states that he was awakened at 5.30 a.m. He saw from his bedroom window flames rising from tho j-oof above the billiaid room. By the time he had aroused the boarders and got outside the whole hotel eeerned ablaze. All escaped in most scanty clothing and few personal belongings. The building was valued at £6,000, and the insurances on the buildings, furniture, and stock total £3,000, in tile United Insurance Office..
