A youth named Lwdo Neilson had' his right arm crushed in an electric planer yesterday afternoon at Messrs Love Bros.' timber yards, Port Chalmers. Slipping accidentally he lost his balance, and his hand came into contact with and was drawn into the. machine. He was removed to the cottage hospital, where the in hired ' arm was amputated above the elbow*
