The annual report of the above club states: The income from all sources amounted to £217, and the expenditure to £97, leaving a credit balance of £l2O, which must be considered very satisfactory. The club were represented at the Otago Annual, Otago Rowing Association, Bluff, and Queenstown Regattas. The crews met with a fair amount of success, winning in all £lB 7s and 16 certificates, as again £2B 10s for the previous year, which must be considered satisfactory, seeing that the result was mainly achieved by maiden and junior crews. ‘Mr T. J. Grant very generously donated a medal ■for the member who attained the highest aggregate in racing points during the season. There was keen competition, and Mr C. Purvis was the successful winner,

with Mr R. Knox a close second. - No addition was made to the plant. The boats have all been thoroughly overhauled auring the winter by a lew very energetic members, and will be in tip-top" condition ior the opening of the season. During the season 22 members joiried the colors, four of whom have been wounded, and one (J. G. Anderson, a very popular member) having laid down his life for his countrv. The New Zealand Tennis Council have endorsed the action of the Management Committee in communicating with the affiliated associations with a~view to cancelling the 1915 championships. They decided to recommend the Management Committee favorably to consider the adoption of a uniform programme for all tournaments authorised by the New Zealand Association.
