(Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, April 15, The wreck of the steamer Rakiara (formerly the Rose Casey) at Stephens Island yesterday occurred with dramatic suddenness. She struck a rock within 20vds of the shore at three minutes to five yesterday morning. The crew launched a boat and made for D’Urville Island, which they reached at 9 o’clock.
