An exceptionally enthusiastic recruit who is well known in Wellington Labor circles seems to have got into the firingline hv refusing to be denied admission to it (states the '‘Dominion'). Have seen a little of the real tiring m defending the Canal, and hope to see more of it shortly. Guess we are going to Palestine to deal it out to the despicable Turk. -We have a pipe band of (at present) 16 members, and expect three or four more members before wo march away from her, probably next week. T was in the ranks until last week. I did all the marching and heavy drills, and never missed a. parade. Many cannot that. lam fit and well”
