PARIS, April 13. Ofiicial: The Germans made a. second alack. and despite very heavy losses gained a footing in the outermost trench, which they held throughout the night against counter-attacks. While the Germans directed fresh attacks on other trendies on the 9th, the French artillery rained shells on the outermost trench, where tho Germans crowded 400 men. Then the French charged with the bayonet, and only 10 of the 400 survived. The Fumeh losses were very small.
