Kent scored 265 rurjs against Middlesex at Maidstone. At the drawing of stumps Middlesex had lost eight wickets lor 70 runs. Of the eight wickets that have fallen Blythe captured seven for 21 runs. (Received July 25. at 11.30 a.m.) Middlesex were dismissed for 88 and 132, Kent winning by an innings and 45 runs. This is the county's first defeat this, season.
"Essex 259 defeated Sussex 102 and 47 by an innings and 110 runs.
