CONFERENCE OP DELEGATES. [Per United Press Association.] 1 WELLINGTON, July 7. A cojjference of unions convened by the United Federation of Labor, for the purpose of further solidifying the forces of Labor and linking up with the recentlyformed Federation of Labor in Australia, met this morning, 74 delegates being present. Mr J. Rigg (Wellington) was appointed chairman, Mr D. J. Sullivan deputy-chairman, and Mr P. H. Hickey secretary. The "Press were ’excluded, and a Press Committee set up to supply reports. Only formal business was transacted this morning. A resolution was passed allowing Labor M.P.s to take part in the deliberations of tho conference.
