THE CONDITION OF THE OVAL.
TO THE EDITOR, Sir, —While taking part in one of the football matches on "the Oval on Saturday morning it came under my notice that the ground is in an awfa! condition. When the centre-forward has to kick the hall off he is compelled to stand in water up to his ankles. The ground requires a little filling-'in, and also sand in some places. I trust that the union will pee to this before next Saturday.—J am, etc. PtATEB. Judo 8.
