FIRES
[Per United Press Association.] EKETAHUNA, April 28. At 5 o’clock this morning- Firth and Sou’s stables were gutted. A motor lorry, one horse, and a large stock of feed were lost. 'Hie fire had a big bold before it was discovered. A son, sleeping on the premises, escaped by a window. The brigade previented further spread. The building was owned by Mr T. Parsons. Insurances : On the motor. £400; on the stock and plant, £3OO. The insurance on the building is not available.
