NEW YORK, March 4.
The draw for the first round of the Davis Cup is as follows : —Australia meets Canada. Belcium meets Britain, and Germany and France have byes. Germany will meet the winner of the Australia-Canada match, and France will meet the winner of the Britain-Belgium series.
.Mr Wrenn (chairman of the American committee) expects that Canada Australia will play their matches in the United States, and that the German contestants will do likewise. Mr Wrenn is negotiating with Boston, Chicago, and Philadelphia in order to decide the locale of the matches and the dates.
