Chaotic conditions continue :u NewYork and the neighboring States. The damage to property is estimated at millions of dollars.
The. streets in the city are packed with ice and snow, and traffic is held up. Some districts are isolated. The prospects of a thaw are regarded apprehensively. There is a likelihood of an epidemic arising out of the garbage lying in the streets.
