DUNEDIN EXPANSION LEAGUE.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —lii the ' Evening Star' last night I note that Mr David M'Kenzic, the New York financier, who is now on a motor tour round the world, told a Wellington pressman that one of the things that surprised him was lack of information about New Zealand in almost every country he visited. I write to suggest that tho Dunedin Expansion League might try to get the Government to send someone on a tour round the world for the purpose of giving information about New Zealand and forming agencies in all the large towns, where information about New Zealand could always ho obtained. It would give a chance to have Dunedin well advertised at the same time. If the Government could bo got to do it, it would be a good idea if tho person who was sent gave free moving-picturo exhibitions of Now Zealand scenery. Mr M'Kenzie also states that if people in America knew about New Zealand they would come over in thousands to spend their winter in our summer. A deputation should go to the Prime Minister on this subject, or ho should be written to.—l am, etc.. Let Nkw Zealand Lead. January 7 16.
