UNION MAIL STEAMERS. R-.M.S. Makura-, en route for Vancouver,, reached Auckland at 5.5 p.m. yesterday, and sailed to-day for the American port via. Suva and Honolulu. R.M.S. Niagara, from Auckland, arrived at Sydney early yesterday, and will be despatched for Vancouver via Auckland on January 12. R.M.S. Moana, from 'Frisco, is due at Wellington on January 1, and: sails the next day for Sydney. It will be remembered that she. was detained for a week at ■Wellington through the strike—indeed, was the first steamer to be "held up"; nevertheless, she is returning from San Francisco on time-tnble date. MAMARI AT HOBART. A Hobart wire announces that the Main art (from London) was signalled at 10 this morning. She proceeds to Wellington to land immigrants, and then comes direct to Dunedin, arriving probably between Christ-church and New Year. OVERSEA STEAMERS.
