MEETINGS AND SOCIALS
CENTRAL MISSION ANNIVERSARY. Last evening in tho social room of tho Octagon Hall tho Central Mission Young Men's Biblo Class held their first anniversary social, which proved a great success. In spite of the inclement weather there was a large attendance, thero being 50 members present, including; delegates from various Young Men's Methodist Bible Classes. The. programme included songs, recitations, and competitions. Responses were read by the delegates in answer to tho roll call. The following contributed items :—Vocal solos—By Misses M. Tuckie, 11. Jacobs, and M. Vealie, Messrs Weir, T. Bauchop, and P. Don ; recitation by Mr W. Browne, pianoforte solo by Miss Curie, instrumental trio by Misses Fiddis, Jacobs, and Reeves. A vote of thanks was moved by Mr C. Primmer, seconded by Mr D. C. Cameron and P. Don, after which supper was provided, and the pleasant : evening was brought to a close.
