CHESS MATCH
OTAGO CHESS CLUB v.ATHEXiEUM. Last evening an enjoyable return match was played by representatives of the above chibs, the former club gaining their Teyenge with a majority of seven games, but in justice to the Athensum Club it must be said that they were somewhat handicapped through the non-appearance of their three top-board men. The thanks of both teams are again due to Messrs H; J. Armstrong (Otago) and R. Jeans (Athenaeum) for their untiring efforts in bringing the players together.
