ARBITRATION COURT
[Per Uxitkd Press Association.] CHR.ISTCI-in.iCU. November 13. The dispute between the General Laborers' Union ami the Master Builders and Contractors' Association, the Citv Council, and others was hoard to-day. Mr Howard, for the. union, stated U Lid per hour had been accepted before the Conciliation Council because ihe union were assured that the Court- would :;ive no more, but the Court had since dven Is 2d in 'Welliugtoii and Auckland. The union asked for the same rates here. The President said he presumed the employers would not object to this in vi>\v of the position elsewhere. The employers' representatives said thatno notice of the demand had been -iven. and the case was adjourned.
