OTAGO'S REPRESENTATIVE TEAM. The selector lias chosen the following team to make the northern tour:—J. Leith, Davies, E. W. Smart, M. Doako> H. W. Salter, W. Bannerman, A. F. Culliford, Audreae, F. NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION. At a meeting of the Management Committee of the New Zealand Hockey Association hold at Christcliurch last night, the legality was questioned of a motion passed at a previous meeting winch proposed that tlio counties of Geraldine, Mackenzie, Levels, and Waimate should be taken from the territory of the Canterbury Association and mado a separate association. Tho Chairman ruled that it was illegal, being of opinion that no territory could he allotted to a new association not then in existence.

The disqualification imposed by tho Horowhcnua Association on throe clubg under their jurisdiction was endorsed. Letters were received from tha Nelson, Wangamii, and West Coast As. sociations agreeing to tho terms offered them for matches in connection with the English team's visit, The Hawke'a Bay Association sent a conditional acceptance, and asked for further particulars. The Otago and Wairarapa Associations also desired further details. OTAGO ASSOCIATION. Mr R. M. Rutherford presided over last night's meeting of the executive. It was resolved that the Williamson Cup he presented to the City Club as winners of the Second Grade Competition. The secretary was instructed to write inviting the South Canterbury Association to send a team to Dunedin.
