LOVELY WOMAN'S DRESS
KNOWN AS THE X-RAYS. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. NEW YORK, August 20. The Mayor of Portland (Oregon), has instructed the police to arrest any woman who is seen wearing an X-ray dress in the streets. When requested to state what constituted an X-ray dress, the Mayor replied: "One in which the necks were too low, the slit skirts too much slit, and the sheath dresses too much sheathed."
