Lady Wallace led Truganini till 3j furlongs from home, then went past and won by 10 lengths from Sirrah J., who began badly but showed a turn of speed when set gome. Dolly Rodgers was also slow in striking her true pace. Rhodesia, the favorite, pulled up after two furlongs. Lady Wallace was a fair third. Centre wood fourth, then Arbitress and Dolly Rodsrers. Matilda H. gradually improved her position, and with five furlongs to go she joined 0.1.C. in the lead, Hectorata, Ima D., and Nora Burley handy. With three furlongs to go Matilda H. and 0.1.C. cleared away from the others, and Matilda H. played solo at the finish. 0.1.C. weseased up in the last few strides, and Matilda H. won by eight lengths, Hectorata four lengths further away, Ima D. fourth. Prinoft Alert got up on the inside of St. Swithin, and in the back stretch lay second 19 Aileen. Bright here made a forward move, and with a lap to go was lying a length behind Aileen, St. Smithin and Prince Alert next. Aileen skipped on entering the back stretch, and Bright went to the 0,-ont. Prince Alert challenged him two furlongs from home, but broke badly, and Bright trotted home a winner by six lengths, third five lengths away, Aileen fourth. Lord Heathcotc pulled up after the second round. Bright was favorite. Time, smin ISfsec. DOMAIN HANDICAP (in harness), of KKs'jvs; second lssjf? third ssova. Ijm. Truganini lost ground at the start, and Lavinia showed wie way from Rosie M’Kirmey and Vesper. The last-named was going to the front at the back, when she broke, leaving Rosie M‘Kinney in charge. Mandor also broke, and in" the last lap, when ‘ purtuing Rosie M’Kinney, Mandor broke again, leaving the favorite to win by five lengths, third six lengths away. Rebe was fourth- Time, 4mb 29sec.
