On Tuesday night the residents' of Anderson Bay met to do honor to ■Mr Thos. Pryor, who. after living in the, district for 26 years and taking a prominent part in its public and social life, is leaving for Oainaru. Mr E. H. Clark was entrusted with the pleasing task of presenting to Mr Pryor a case of cutlery and a dressing case, and to Mrs Pryor a ‘handsome piece of jewellery. Speeches showing the high esteem in which the recipient is held were made by the Rev. A. Cameron, Mr E. TJulhie“ Mr J. R.
