JUBILEE FUND.
The Presbyterian Synod of Otago and southland this afternoon resolved —" That the resolution of the pro re nat.a meeting of the Synod be fallen from, and that it be resolved that the by nod agree to leave the capital suiii uf the Jubilee Fund in the hands of the General Assembly's Church Property Trustees; and further resolves —(1) That the capital remain untouched until the Synod by interim act may otherwise determine'; (2) that the annual revenue be paid over to the Synod's Church Extension Committee, to be administered by them; (3) that, the said committee shall in their wisdom consider the needs of the whole Church in administering the annual revenue; (4) that the trustees aforesaid be instructed to make advances at a low rate of interest from capital on loan to congregations against the security of grants of Synod : the loan not to exceed three-fourths of the grant remaining unpaid."
