TOURING- POLITICIANS.
[Pkr United Press 'Association.] INVERCARGILL, February 3. The group of touring North Island members of Parliament were met on Friday afternoon at Tapanni by prominent Southlanders, and have since been on motor tours through the province. On Saturday they left Gore in tho morning and visited the Matanra, Wyndhani, and Fortroso districts, arriving in Invercargill in the evening. Yesterday they motored out to tho Western District, in the vicinty of the Waian River, and to-day they continued their tour towards Lumsdeii, and will return to join tho northern express at Gore. Members express themselves as most favorably impressed with the quality of rural Southland, and astonished at the enormous area of land suitable for cultivation.
