Yesterday Miss Gould and Mrs Wood tied for the challenge cup presented by the (Misses Mill. The competitors played off this morning, when Mrs Wood won the cup. The semi-finals for the championship were also played this morning, with the following results; Miss Rattray beat Miss Gould, 1 up. .Mrs Ward beat Mrs Mackie, 7 up and 6 to play. The final for the championship, between (Mrs Ward and (Miss Rattray, was heinv played this afternoon. The following are the weights for the Trentham Welter Handicap at the W.R.C. meeting on the 22nd inst. Distinction 11.5, Tnvari 9.10, Mosgiel and Pablo 8.13.
