MUNICIPAL TEPID BATHS

Mr P. N. Bundle presided over a conference of the Otago Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association and the Otago head centre of the Royal Lifesaving Society, held last night, to discuss the proposed municipal tepid baths. It was decided tnat a central committee be formed, composed of the two swimming bodies, with power to add to their number. Mr J. A. Park was elected president, and Messrs G. F. M'lvellar and P. N. Bundle wore appointed joint secretaries. It was decided to invite the various sporting and athletic clubs, requesting them to appoint two delegates each to attend another meeting.
