The British steamer Indrakuala collided ■with and sank tho steamer Julia Lucbenback {5,100 tons) in Chesapeake Bay. The captain and his wile and 20 sailors of the Julia Luchenbach were drowned. Six sailors, who chmg to the rigging for hours benumbed with cold, were finally rescued.
