Nuremberg breweries during 1911 produced 21,631,368 gallons of beer, of .winch 7,589,656 gallons were brought into' the city and 6,181,956 gallons exported. The city consumed 23.059,069 gallons, a trifle more than 69 gallons for each man, woman, and child. Tiro retail price of beer in Nuremberg averages threepence per quart.
