ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
James Robertson, married, residing at Bealey street, Christchurch, Avas killed at the gasworks early this morning. The men were changing shifts, and during the spell Robertson Avas making minor repairs to the. elevator. The machinery Avas restarted, Robertson Avas caught in the gearing, and crushed. A boy named John Richard Jones fell off a draught horse which he was riding to a paddorj-: in Victoria road. St. Kilda, last evening, and had tAvo rib.s broken.
