ESTIMATES EXCEEDED. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. MELBOURNE, January 5. (Received January 4, at 9.20 a.m.) The Federal Customs and Excise revenue for the six months ended 31st December was £7,955,747, being an increase over the previous half-year of £937,031. The Treasurer had forecasted a decrease of £199,000. The Postal revenue increased by £37,215!
