Tho judgment oE the Marine Court of Inquiry into the wreck of the steamer" Urilla in Whitsuntide Passage, exonerates Captain James Garden, entirely. The commander of H.M.S. Sealark had reported that the rock on which the Urilla struck was wrongly charted. The chart places the rock to the south of Piipple Rock, whereas it is considerably to the eastward. The opinion in some quarters is that the Yongala disaster was .attributable to this error.
