BIBLE IN SCHOOLS.
The Presbyterian Bible Class Conference, now sitting-at Temuka, on Wednesday morning unanimously passed the following resolution after hearing an address on tie subject by the Rev. R' J. Porter, o/Oamaru .-—Moved by the Rev. G. H. Balfour, president—" That this conference of BiDie class delegates (their being 535 registered members) accept, the policy of the Bible-in-State Schools League, and the members pledge themselves to earnestly support it by assisting to form branches .of the league, and that in the meantime they suggest that all interested should • take advantage of the facilities alreadv within their reach for giving religious" instruc tion.
