FOUR MEN DROWNED. [Pee Uxited Pkess Association.] PAHIATUA. January 2. Four men were drowned by the capsizing o£ a motor launch ou the coast at Akitio. The party left Aohanga yesterday for Castlepoint. The launch was found on the beach, but there was no trace of its occupants. The nsmee of the men are Alexander M'Kenzie, Alexander Duncan, Sam Potaugnroa (a ' Native), and James Powers (a half-caste).
