THE THREE KINGS.
AUCKLAND, December 23. The Hon. F. M. B. Fisher informed a deputation of shipmasters that the Three Kings are to be lighted, but the department will not spend a lot of monev in putting a light in the wrong place. He wanted to ascertain it it were possible to put an electric fog signal on the Western King, where it was impossible to build. It would perhaps be possible to put a strong automatic light on the other island, in the north-eastern corner, lie asked the members of the deputation to consider his suggestions and consult with him later.
